View and discuss the documentary Bloodsworth: An Innocent Man. In the 1990s, prisoner Kirk Bloodsworth learned of a new technology, DNA fingerprinting, and realized it was a chance to prove his innocence. The book and film describe a criminal justice milestone in Maryland that would eventually lead to the exoneration of hundreds of people wrongfully accused of violent crimes.

Bloodsworth is this year's One Maryland One Book selection. OMOB is a program designed to bring diverse groups of Marylanders together in library, school, or community settings to share a common reading experience.
