Build confidence and control on the water with this focused 2-hour kayak roll clinic. Designed for paddlers looking to learn or improve their roll technique, this hands-on session provides personalized instruction in a supportive, low-pressure environment. In this clinic, you'll learn:
- The fundamentals of body position, paddle mechanics, and boat control
- Key components of the roll: setup, sweep, hip snap, and recovery
- Tips for staying calm and confident underwater
- How to troubleshoot common roll challenges
- Variations of the roll (C-to-C, sweep roll, etc.) based on your goals and ability
What to bring: Your kayak and gear (including skirt, paddle, and PFD) and a positive attitude. Or, utilize equipment provided by our Adventure Equipment Center. Please let us know as soon as possible if equipment is needed.
