Managing Conflict When the Heat is On

A course, ?Managing Conflict when the Heat is on? has been scheduled at the Garrett College McHenry campus on Tuesday, October 27. The class will be held from 5:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. in Room 205 of the Continuing Education building. This three-hour introductory course will identify and incorporate conflict goals and interests in negotiations, alter patterns of dysfunctional conflict, avoid natural responses to conflict that derail negotiations and harm relationships, and use collaborative techniques more frequently and effectively. The instructor will guide participants in managing conflict in a positive and productive way. The class will be instructed by Mark Isabella of Isabella & Associates. He is the Assistant Director for Innovation and Change Leadership for the West Virginia Division of Personnel.
